The following two short lessons provide you with further information about your qualification and as a CMI Centre there is an expectation that we provide this information to you. You may well find it introduced to you on a regular basis during your studies and that is because not all students are on the same route to achieve their qualification with different units/modules having been selected by different students.

Unit 702: Leading and Developing People to Optimise Performance

The aim of this unit is for leaders to develop an in-depth understanding of how to effectively lead and develop people. They will explore the influence and impact of leadership theories, culture, well-being, development and design, policy and strategy that can be used creatively within the leadership role. Ultimately, leaders will have the opportunity to propose a leadership and development strategy. The aim of which values people whilst optimising an organisation’s performance.The ability to optimise performance through the leadership and development of people is fundamental for leaders who wish to achieve and maximise organisational outcomes.
